Jupio Pr1me
Eens in de zoveel tijd komt er een product op de markt wat ik zeer kan waarderen. De Jupio Pr1me is zo’n product.

The Photowalkers
Planet of the Humans
Everyone on this planet is going green. That is what we try to tell ourselves. But behind the scenes there is still a lot to change before we realize a truly circular economy. We literally burn everything to meet our energy needs: oil, coal, gigantic amounts of wood from logged forests and oil extracted from dead animals’ corpses. That burning destroys everything. We can skirt around it or deny it, but Mother Nature is more than fed up with us.
More USB-C
With the introduction of the iPhone 15 models, it has once again become clear that behind every USB-C port, electronics determine what can be done with this standard port. Apple has…
WH-1000XM5
I have been using noise cancelling headphones for years. Due to a mechanical defect in the old ones, it was time for a new one and that became the Sony WH-1000XM5 and compared to the previous models I have had, it is a huge update. Especially when it comes to the noise cancelling.
The last ship
When he introduced “The Last Ship” on his Twitter account, I found the musical on Youtube and watched it many times. All this time I wondered what he loved about that story. Was it because of similarities in his own timeline and perhaps he had plans of his own for this wonderful musical? You sometimes have to want to build something great to achieve something.
GoPro Hero 12
Around IBC is the time for a lot of brands to introduce their new products. This was also true for GoPro who introduced their new Hero just like their competitors. The successor to the 2022 Hero 11 has more quality and features built back in.
Photography stories
Starting a search for the source of inspiration for you photography. That moment lands sooner or later for everyone involved in photography, whether for hobby or work. You can get that inspiration from a wonderful book, but in my opinion, the best memories come from conversations with the photographer himself.
Back to Luskentyre

In the footsteps of my father: The Udet Buoy
During a visit to the bunker museum at Terschelling in August 2018, I had already seen the Udet Boje on the grounds. The top was missing and everything was covered under a layer of rust. A small information board told more about the object and I captured it all with my camera.
Thunderbolt and USB-C cables
There is a tremendous history prior in the development of the USB-C standard, which will continue to evolve in the future. USB-C is a connector-only standard. What all is connected to that and what protocols are communicated with is an entirely different story.
The art of reducing and growing
Over the years, a lot of techniques have become more complex and have reached more and more limits when it comes to producing electronic products in consumer electronics and in telecom. We have seen tremendous developments in less than three decades. We have reached physical limits several times, and yet we manage to stretch them further and further to the point where everything is unattainable.
The first photo shoot at 70.000 feet
Last weeks I was lucky enough to test the successor to my Sony A7RIV. That was a very special experience. In that camera there are techniques built in that until recently were not possible at all. Techniques that surprised me very positively. The level of this successor is another big step up.
