Starting a search for the source of inspiration for you photography. That moment lands sooner or later for everyone involved in photography, whether for hobby or work. You can get that inspiration from a wonderful book, but in my opinion, the best memories come from conversations with the photographer himself.

De video documentaire ‘The spirit of Luskentyre’ is een parel die je op Youtube kunt vinden. Het project heeft zoveel mooie ervaringen gedeeld over Nigel Dansons 30 dagen op het strand van Luskentyre. Niet alleen in de video’s zie je echt prachtige beelden, maar ook in het boek wat Nigel heeft gemaakt. Ik heb het boek (nummer #1286 van de 1500) inmiddels binnen en het heeft mij nieuwe inspiratie en ideeën gebracht.

Last evening, by chance, I came across a video by Nigel Danson on Youtube. The first part of a series of videos he had produced after his trip to Luskentyre beach, on Isle of Harris in Scotland. All three videos are almost an hour long, a long sit, but well worth it for nature photographers looking for inspiration.
